2. My client is looking for a Master - Tug Boat who preferably have experience working on an Anchor Handling Tug. Applicants must be happy to work in the UAE and have anchor experience.
The successful ASD Master will have at least 2 years experience as a Master on a TUG - 100tbp. As well as this you must be qualified to STCW Chief Officer with Master endorsement. A good understanding of MARPOL, SOLAS, ISM, STCW 95 as well as class rules and flag states is also expected. It is also essential that you have anchoring experience.

Responsibilities:
STWC95 qualified officers are currently being sought to serve onboard our Terminal Tugs based in Durban. These vessels are responsible for:

• Tanker Operations – including Personnel Transfer, Equipment Transfer, Inspection of berth, Presentation of Mooring Hawser Pick Up Lines, Presentation of Hoses and Static Towing
• Maintenance Operations – including Mooring to SPM, Laying of mooring spread, Transfer of personnel and equipment to the buoy, Small boat operations, Decking of floating hoses, Decking of mooring hawsers, Floating hose change out and Gusto swivel change out
• Subsea Operations – including Laying of 4 point mooring, Positioning of vessel, Working with Diving Team and Subsea Equipment Change Out

Up Load Data Base

Terkadang kita sering mendengar dan menjumpai bahwa ada beberapa sertifikat yang tidak terdapat di data base pelaut www.pelaut.go.id. Nah bila hal tersebut terjadi pada anda, jangan langsung mengambil kesimpulan bahwa sertifikat tersebut abal-abal, kecuali kalo anda memang nembak ato lewat calo ngambilnya.

Perlu di perhatikan bahwa pada tahun 2002 terjadi perubahan website pelaut dari www.pelaut.com menjadi www.pelaut.go.id. Pada tahap pergantian ini ada beberapa data pelaut yang ternyata tidak ikut berpindah, harap maklum saja genk berapa banyak data pelaut di Indonesia yang harus dipindahkan. Orang pindah rumah saja butuh waktu dan pastinya banyak barang yang tercecer pula. Bahkan data base yang sudah terdaftar di www.pelaut.go.id saja bisa menghilang. So bagaimana tindakan anda bila data setifikat anda tidak terdaftar? Take it easy ikuti langkah berikut:

  1. Bawa sertifikat anda beserta foto kopinya ke tempat anda mengikuti Diklat
  2. Laporkan ke bagian sertifikasi , Ketua Program atau koorinator program Diklat. Gak usah lewat Calo
  3. Lampirkan data dukung lainnya (STTPK, Ket. Lulus dll)
  4. lampirkan pas foto warna ukuran 3x4 sebanyak 3 lembar untuk di Upload di data base anda bila pada data base anda tidak terdapat foto identitas

Data Base

Sering saya mendapat pertanyaan dari peserta diklat maupun rekan-rekan pelaut lainnya tentang bagaimana cara mengecek sertifikat mereka di Data Base pelaut. Bagi yang sudah tau sih pasti bilang gampang saja, tapi bagi yang belum tau kan perlu penjelasan bos. Untuk itu saya akan memaparkan langkah – langkah yang harus dilakukan adalah :

1. Browsing di : www.pelaut.go.id

2. Anda akan melihat tampilan berikut :


Pada kolom Login masukkan :

User name : guest

Password : guest

Lalu klik tombol enter

3. Pada halaman selanjutnya klik tulisan ”search seafarer or certificate

4. Selanjutnya anda diminta untuk memasukkan data berikut :

· Seafarer name (nama pelaut bersangkutan - nama tersebut harus sesuai dengan yang tetulis di sertifikat)

· Seafarer Code (nomor kode pelaut , umumnya 10 angka pertama dari no. sertikat – dapat dikosongkan koq)

· Birth Place (tempat lahir, harus sesuai dengan yang tetulis di sertifikat)

· Age (umur) from (dari berapa tahun) to (sampai berapa tahun)

Setelah itu klik tombol “Search Now”

5. Akan muncul nama (nama-nama) yang berhubungan dengan data yang anda masukkan tadi. Bila muncul beberapa nama silahkan pilih nama yang anda inginkan sebenarnya. Klik nama tersebut. Maka akan nampak data base pelaut yang diinginkan.
